Our cattle is pasture fed for the first 360 days and then grain fed for 360 days in order to avoid discoloration of fatty meat. This guarantees a slow and delicate process of fattening. Their diet consists mainly of corn, barley, wheat bran and soybean. All our animals have an average weight of 800 Kgs and a maximum age of 24 months at the time of slaughter.
The high quality of marbling is obtained through a strict feeding and nutritional program which includes the development of a calf-specific monitoring plan, thus ensuring an appropriate balance between weight and marbling.
Our wagyu livestock is free of added hormones, chemical waste and antibiotics. After an ultrasound scan that measures the level of intramuscular fat, we select only livestock which comply with our standards for slaughtering. This process guarantees our customers our Premium Wagyu Beef.
